The goal of the Center for Business & Technology is to deliver cost-effective, professional training to improve the quality of your workforce your way. Located on the County College of Morris campus, the center of business specializes in offering high-quality on or offsite training programs and services for businesses in the greater Morris County area. The workforce training and available courses encompass the full spectrum of business skills, focusing primarily on developing soft skills, such as critical thinking and leadership, technical skills, like visual presenting and mechanical skills, and finally language courses in Spanish, Mandarin, and ESL.

Workforce Development Board

The Morris-Sussex-Warren Workforce Development Board (WDB) is responsible for planning, policy guidance, and oversight of the workforce development system in Morris, Sussex, and Warren County. The tri-county board’s goal is to combine area employment, training, and supportive services and programs into a One-Stop Career Center System that will meet the needs of job-seekers and employers alike. Through planning, data collection, and continuous improvement of programs and services, the WDB seeks to maximize the efficiency of the local labor market, surpass customers’ expectations and exceed federally required and state-determined performance standards.

The One-Stop Career Centers in Morris County offer free services to help job seekers develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s work environment while also providing assistance to employers that are interested in recruiting new talent for their business. Services include access to center resources like technology and interviewing locations, career navigation and training services, employee resources and workforce aid, and filing assistance.
