Randolph Township is powered by Jersey Central Power and Light, or popularly known as JCP&L. A branch of the FirstEnergy Company, JCP&L serves an estimated 1.1 million customers in central and northern New Jersey, and services over 10,500 residential and commercial Randolph customers.

Water and Sewer

The Randolph Township Division of Sewer and Water conducts maintenance operations through the Randolph Township Division of Engineering. Our water and sewer department consists of dedicated staff members, who work on a daily basis to maintain an extensive network consisting of:

  • 145 miles of potable water mains
  • 78 miles of sanitary sewers
  • 9 sanitary sewer pumping stations
  • 1 water pressure booster station

Supervised by the engineering/water and sewer administrator, the division works to ensure that safe drinking water and reliable waste collection are provided to those residents who are customers of these systems. New Jersey Natural Gas otherwise known as NJNG, serves as the primary natural gas provider in Randolph.
