The Morris County Vocational School District (MCVSD) officially opened its new Career Training Center on the County College of Morris (CCM) campus in Randolph on May 30, 2025. The $26.8 million, 46,350-square-foot facility will begin serving about 150 high school students this fall, with room to expand over time. Designed to prepare students for college and careers, the center will offer share-time programs in fields such as healthcare, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and supply chain management.

Funded through the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act and county support, the center is part of a growing hub of technical education on the CCM campus. The initiative reflects a strong partnership among local and state officials, CCM leadership, and the MCVSD community. Students will gain industry credentials and up to 18 college credits in a high-tech, career-focused environment. Leaders at the ribbon-cutting emphasized the center’s role in workforce development and its importance in shaping the county’s future.
